Chris Hilkemann is Vice President Risk Management & Associate General Counsel for Crete Carrier Corporation and its Division of Shaffer Trucking. Crete Carrier Corporation is one of the largest privately owned trucking companies in the country, providing dry-van and temperature controlled truckload services to customers on a nationwide basis. Chris is responsible for overall corporate risk management, including: overall regulatory compliance; leadership of corporate safety with the Vice President Safety & Compliance; and benefits, policy, and executive administration. Chris earned his JD, with distinction, from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln College of Law in 2006. Chris joined Crete Carrier Corporation in 2008 as Associate General Counsel and became Vice President Risk Management in 2014.
