Stacy Ann Sebald resides in Port Washington, WI, with her 12-year-old son. She is a dedicated mother of three, though her family was forever changed by the tragic loss of her eldest son, Mitchell McDaniel, in an agricultural incident on November 11, 2019.
In 2022, Stacy began volunteering with the United Support & Memorial for Workplace Fatalities (USMWF). Her commitment and passion for workplace safety led her to join the board of this nationwide non-profit organization, where she has proudly served for nearly two years.
Driven by her son’s memory, Stacy has become a fervent advocate for workplace safety. She is actively working to remove a 48-year-old exemption that prevents OSHA from investigating agricultural incidents on small farms with 10 or fewer employees. Stacy’s dedication to this cause is a testament to her unwavering commitment to making workplaces safer for everyone.
