Dr. Westpheling provides occupational medicine services at MercyCare Occupational Health at Prairie Creek. Services include a wide range of specialty medical exams such as Independent Medical Evaluations, Impairment Ratings, and Worker's Compensation Evaluations, as well as the entire realm of worker injury treatment and prevention.
 
Dr. Westpheling received his medical degree from the University of Iowa and completed his Master of Public Health at the University of Iowa College of Public Health. He completed residencies in both Family and Occupational Medicine, at Northeast Medical Education Foundation and UIHC, respectively.
 
Dr. Westpheling is certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine. He is also certified as a Medical Review Officer and DOT Commercial Driver Medical Examiner. He is also a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
