Wes Hartig is the CEO of MedOne Pharmacy Benefit Solutions - a pharmacy benefit solutions provider guiding consumers to the most appropriate prescription treatment at the most affordable price. Prior to MedOne, Hartig worked for a venture capital in Nashville, TN called Martin Ventures where he focused on investing in healthcare technology businesses. Prior to joining Martin Ventures, Hartig worked as a Relationship Manager with Fifth Third Bank in their healthcare lending division. Wes attended the University of Dayton and Wahlert High School. He proudly serves on the Camp Albrecht Acres Foundation Board, Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dubuque Board and the March of Dimes Board. Wes lives in Dubuque, IA with his wife (Allie) and daughter (Nora).
Janelle Shimon, M.B.A., CPhT is Vice President Client Services at MedOne Pharmacy Benefit Solutions, a position that she has held since 2016. In this role, Shimon leads the Account Management and Member Advocate teams. Shimon brings her previous experience of healthcare consulting, transforming clients' prescription benefit programs by mitigating risk and reducing overall prescription costs. She is keenly focused on promoting the company's role in reshaping a healthcare industry that is more affordable and delivers better outcomes for patients.
 
Shimon joined MedOne Pharmacy Benefit Solutions in 2016 and since that time has assisted with growing the company 115% with a 99% client retention rate. Prior to MedOne Pharmacy Benefit Solutions, Shimon held several positions in the Healthcare industry, most recently as a Consultant Level Project Manager of Health and Welfare Outsourcing at Willis Tower Watson. Prior to that, she worked nearly six years with MagellanRx and CVS Caremark Corporation serving in various roles within the prescription benefit management industry. Shimon earned her Masters in Business degree from the University of Dubuque and her Undergraduate Degree from Grand View University. Shimon serves on the NICC Business Committee which oversees education plan development. She is also a member of the Women's Leadership Network.
Dr. Nathan Harold, PharmD. is the Vice President of Clinical Services at MedOne Pharmacy Benefit Solutions, a full-service prescription benefit management company which customized the prescription benefit component of a health plan for employers, non-profit organizations, trade associations, as well as the uninsured and underinsured. Prior to joining MedOne, Harold practiced as a clinical pharmacist at St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way, Washington, a part of the northwest-based Franciscan Health System. Harold is a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, American Pharmacist Association, Iowa Pharmacy Association, and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy in 2012 with a Doctor of Pharmacy. After completing his PharmD., Harold pursued a post-graduate pharmacy practice residency at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, the flagship hospital for the Franciscan Health System. He also holds a theology certificate from Capernway Hall Bible School in Carforth, Lancashire, England.
Brent Matthews, Principal and Practice Leader at TrueNorth Companies is a Co-Developer of the Benefits Navigator, a strategy to implement long-term cost controls for benefit plans. His unique style of customer advocacy has helped hundreds of organizations save time and money. He is also in the Strategic Coach (Masters Program) as a nine year participant in this unique process that develops entrepreneurs to their fullest potential. Mr. Matthews' strong commitment to his industry is evidenced in his membership with the National Association of Underwriters (NAHU), and Christ Chapel. He is also actively engaged in professional coaching programs and is a member of the United Benefits Advisors group.
 
As a more than 25 year veteran of the employee benefits world, Brent has experience with the complex financial and risk management needs most companies face. He attended Texas A&M on track scholarship that he continues to engage in as a participant in international marathons
 
Adam Shanahan, Producer Coordinator at TrueNorth Companies is an Employee Benefits advisor dedicated to the transportation industry. Within transportation companies, Adam assists with unique challenges and industry complexities. He aids in the areas of finance, compliance, technology, wellness and loss control, employee advocacy and employee communication.
 
Adam graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Within just a few short years of graduating college, Adam is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), the United Benefit Advisors (UBA) and the American Trucking Association (ATA). Before his time at TrueNorth, he also managed Eastern Iowa's Commercial Truck Division for Enterprise.
