Meet our Speaker:
Dr. Christopher Iverson, MD, MBA, MPH
Dr. Chris Iverson received his medical degree from University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine. During medical school, he simultaneously earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the UI Henry B. Tippie College of Business. After medical school, he completed his residency in Occupational Medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. As a part of his Occupational Medicine training, Iverson earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the UI College of Public Health. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Occupational Medicine.
Iverson brings first-hand experience in the fields of both medicine and business to the specialty of Occupational Medicine. A foundation in both areas provides a unique skill set well-suited to effectively navigate the challenges that accompany identification and treatment of work-related exposures and subsequent health problems. He sees patients at the UI Occupational Health Clinic in Coralville, Iowa.
