Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.
Right now, it’s important to recognize that employees could be experiencing overwhelming feelings of anxiety and stress. Part of the responsibility of an employer is to recognize if your workforce is struggling with tasks of daily living, experiencing depressive or suicidal states, panic attacks, or other distressing symptoms.
